The project is the brainchild of the California rock scene’s own James Davis, who originally made waves in the 00s with his previous band Shameless as lead guitarist. The band won Best Hard Rock Band at the Southern California Music Awards in 2006, Best Hard Rock Band Rock City News in 2005 and 2006, and Best Metal Band at the Inland Empire Music Awards in 2006.

Vancouver-based singer/songwriter Tim Compagna has spent much of his career working as a prominent remix artist. With over a dozen chart hits, his first major success came in 2013 with the will.i.am & Britney Spears hit "Scream & Shout," which reached #34 on the US Pop Charts. Later that year, his mix of Macklemore's "Thrift Shop" would also achieve international acclaim, reaching #50 on the charts.
