Rock/Review Annie Anna - Drowning

Annie Anna (formerly Stephanie Farney) is a singer-songwriter currently based in Tucson, AZ. Writing music has always been cathartic for her and has really become her outlet for expressing emotion. You could describe her style as a mixture of alternative folk, and it features prominent vocals mixed with dark acoustics and auxiliary percussion.

'Drowning' shows us the world from a different side that we have not yet recognized. It challenges our perceptions and encourages us to think critically about our assumptions. Through this new perspective, we can gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of the world around us and become more empathetic towards others.

Annie Anna is an exceptional artist who is at a high musical level. Her music is not only technically impressive but also emotionally powerful. Listening to her performances can be a transformative experience, opening up new avenues of thought and feeling for the listener.
