Rock/Review Northern Trails - Through The Grain
Rooted in Americana, 90s Britpop, and Swedish indie pop traditions, Northern Trails has a way of presenting timeless melancholic melodies in traditional pop and rock costumes decorated with genre-crossing pearls. The band was formed in Uppsala, Sweden, in May 2022, when Christer Tinnerholm and Thomas Isberg agreed to focus a little less on ultrarunning and more on pop music. Together with friends Per Larsson and Ulf Eklund, they put the Hearts Went Frozen EP on tape and released it in November 2023.

Born from the idea of frontman Tommaso La Vecchia and guitarist Aldo Ferrara, Nimby made their live debut in 2009 between the Catanzaro Hills and the Ionian Coast, freely shaping psychedelia, post-punk, and garage rock. In 2010, they released their first work, an EP titled "A Glimpse of World Seen Thru the Eyes of an Old Tree," with the participation of renowned local musicians such as Arco Parentela (4 Gradi Brix, Gioman) on bass and Antonio Guzzomì (Meat For Dogs, Bretus) on drums.

As a full 360-degree project, each song also has its own specific visual counterpart.
